My second pixel city plot (for more info see also my journal and my first plot Cityhall), based on a typical American city park, with a fountain inspired by the one on Concorde Square in Paris.
Where to begin... I start with a rough drawing, just with pencil and paper, then break it all down and placing it on a grid ( also on paper). Then I begin with pixeling each element (e.g. A tree, a piece of the wall etc.). Placing them in photoshop on different layers gives you some freedom, as you can play with each element.
In short: for me it starts with planning, and carefully building up the piece in stead of starting on the left and working your way to the right straight away in photoshop
Superb! Very nice! The fence, streetlights and trees are excellent. We could really use such a beautiful park (and city hall) in PixelDam. Hope you will consider making such a project for it.
Do you think you might could do a tutorial? Or at least any hints for a beginner? Thanks so much!
You are very talented!
